That ten speed transmission is one of the best things I like about my 2017.

I agree, the fact I can smoke the tires in any gear sometimes makes it pretty fun 😁

My 6-speed '17 shifts flawlessly.
And many people have 10 speeds that shift flawlessly and there is no shortage of 6 speed posts on this site for various model years with far worse issues than this.

There's nothing about a 6 speed that makes it better than a 10, but plenty about a 10 that can be better than a 6.

Much like how we aren't driving 3 speed automatics anymore either.

I wouldn't recommend telling a semi driver that anything more than 6 speeds is not right for a truck either, unless you enjoy being laughed at for an awkward amount of time.

No kidding. I have been waiting forever for a manufacturer to release a 3 speed automatic but they never seem to listen to me. I have been sending them telegraphs for years now but I don't think they seem to get the message.
