Truck looks great. My girl friend lives in Phoenix but I am still like 1.5 years away from being able to move down there. I told her I wanna be up by Flagstaff but she isn't sold on that area. Coming from Washington state I am used to my seasons and my trees. I haven't been able to take my truck down to see her because I usually fly and well her car isn't suitable to take adventures like you are doing. You say you are north of Phoenix?

Flagstaff is way more livable than Phx. I went to college in Flagstaff and my brother lives there. If you're coming from WA, Flagstaff will feel way better. Also check out Prescott.

Love the truck man, would love to get mine to that point one day. However my gf isn't much of an outdoor enthusiast so I figure Id be riding solo or with a buddy here and there lol. I used to live out in the valley as well and miss it like crazy for being able to do things like that year round. Keep the updates coming!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but that Falcon suspension caught my eye and love your review. I have a '17 XLT 2wd and asked Falcon if the suspension system also works for 2wd. IT DOES! Just in case anyone was wondering.

Must've not been your truck I've seen. I'm in the far NW valley just south of Lake Pleasant.

I'm really liking your truck though. I love doing trips like you've posted. I just need to get the truck trail worthy. I used to do all of my offroading in a Tacoma.

Awesome build! I just ordered a Leitner ACS rack. What mount is that your using to keep shovel and axe locked?

Nice build I PM’d you about your wheel/tire setup but I should’ve checked here first. +12 with 285/75R17 Nitto RGs w/ mud flaps no rub for the most part. Perfect. What have your MPGs dropped to with the heavier 65lb tire? Any complaints with the Falcon setup? I’m thinking a Falcon strut with an eibach spring would be the ticket up front.
