Default 2016 Regular Cab needs running boards/steps

Looking for input on adding running boards or steps for my 2016 RC. Little Mrs. needs a little boost and I'm xxl so I'd like simple but sturdy. Lots of choices out there but more interested in quality and durability over looks. Maybe just go with oem? What does the forum say?

On my old 15 rcsb i had the oem and they where sturdy but I had the ones from a 4door and cut them to fit the regular cab. On my current 16 rcsb i installed the electric amp and those where by far more sturdy and just down loved them but since i lowered my truck they came off.

My 2016 RCSB came with the OEM running boards...Well constructed and easy on the eyes IMO

I hate any nerf bars or boards, but wifey is teeny-tiny. They are for her.

I got these Lund nerfs from RealTruck.com at a great price. Fifteen minute install.

The factory Ford nerf bars for the RCSB with slightly curved ends look the best. But very expensive.

A plus for the nerf bars is they protect your doors from other car doors.

I put these on my truck, they were 79 bucks including shipping when I bought them. 15 minutes to install these also. For the price, they can't be beat not real fancy but very functional.

Where are you located? I've got a set of OEM ones for sale in MN.

I really like the look of the Bars on Spoat's Ride-->

The looks of the OEM's are OK, they serve a very functional bonus (In addition to getting into/out of cab) living in the Midwest (SNOW) I stand on em before entering the cab. The Grates are great for getting the snow off yer shoes/boots + very Non-Slip.
