Default 2016 navigation??

Question on navigation? I had not planned on getting navigation in my new truck but the 2016 with all the features I wanted were few and far between. I did find a truck very close to what I wanted and it had navigation. We had already finalized a deal on another truck and when dealer tried to get it; it was already sold. So for the same price I ended up getting more features and navigation was one of them.

The sales guy told me there is no charge to have this feature; my son-in-law said they had to pay on there Ford Fusion. Will I have to pay to use this after a short trail period?

NO you won't have to pay. The only subscription service you would have to pay for is Sirius radio and Sirius traffic. However, Sirius radio is FREE for 6 months, and traffic is FREE for 5 years.

Free but it may not be as up to date as yor phone. Nice to have a big map in front of you tho. I find it easy to see. And the search function is far better than it was on my 11 and 13

Sounds great in that nav is free; I wasn't sure my original thought is that there would be some charge but I didn't know. I do like the 6 month of Sirius radio but have never extended it past the 6 months.

The second 6 months is only $39 as of now. I've been a Sirius customer for almost 10 years and I have to negotiate with the bastards every year on renewal. I just threaten to cancel.

Yes I have read threads that you have to threaten to cancel to get the best deal. Seems to be a funny way to do business that I don't get but my Direct TV has been the same way.

How do you like you bedrug?

Love the Bedrug. Still looks new, but I have a Bakflip on it and don't really haul a lot of crap. Golf club and luggage. The only thing I had to do is screw the tailgate part of the rug down with the tailgate screws. The velcro didn't hold after a few years.

Does the free traffic apply to all Ford vehicles with navigation or just F150s? Our 2014 explorer won't access Sirius traffic anymore
