First I'm new to this site and I'm hoping I can get some advice. I have a 2016 f150 xlt with the 5.0 with 19k miles on it, so I have a heavy foot and like to get up to speed quick so when I get on it mainly merging onto freeway my engine light flashes for about a minute or so and goes off and sometimes it will stay on, it will idle rough almost stalling out. So I took it to the dealership and they replaced a coil and plug in cylinder 4, well same day I picked it up was doing same thing, took it back in and they replaced the alternator with no effect. So they contacted ford for a tech or engineer not sure and they had them replace the pcm which also had no effect, now they were told to replace the cam shaft position sensor, yet again no effect. They have had my truck for 13 days now, so between the dealership tech and Ford engineers they still haven't found the issue yet. Have any of you guys had this issue or heard of this problem before. I don't know what any of the codes were that came up other than it was a misfire, any help would be appreciated

 

There are no TSBs or SSMs for a CEL on the 2016 5.0L

 

I would bet a cold beer there is a intermittent intake manifold leak somewhere causing a vacuum leak and contributing to that misfire and CEL.
