Default 2016 F150 Remote Start Question

Do you have the option to leave your truck running via the remote system from the key fob? Say if I want to leave the truck running, take the keys, and lock it up and run into a store or something. Instead of shutting it off and getting out and starting it again. I know the with the after market Auto Start ones you can. Thanks

Well, I just remote start my truck after I get out if I want to keep it running. maybe you could just leave you keys in it and use the door key pad.

I could try that but I don't think it will allow you to lock the doors with the keys in it.

Push button start will stay running if you leave with the keys.

If you leave the keys in the truck push the 7/8 9/0 buttons at the same time to lock it. When you need to unlock your truck enter your five digit code to unlock the doors. That is what I do.

If you are just talking about the remote start on the key fob, which it sounds like you are... why not just turn truck off, get out, use key-fob to lock and restart truck?

There is a distance you have to be to start it, but I don't believe it will sense the key going out of distance, and as long as you only want to keep it running for 15 min or less.
