My 2016 F150 with a Westport CNG package is intermittently not starting, the error code is U108 that appears to mean lost communication with the AFCM. Since this is intermittent I would like to check the wiring and connections first.
Can anyone direct me as to where the AFCM is located on the truck?

 

It all depends on how the CNG conversion was installed, some installers use the factory PCM and reprogram it with a specialized tune for CNG, but if it has a second AFCM tied in the harness, it could be installed almost anywhere, but the last westport system i worked on, there was a bracket bolted to the ABS unit and master cylinder area, with the AFCM there.

 

I contacted Ford where I purchased the truck, they think the PCM was reprogramed. They are contacting the up-fitter to get me some assistance.
