That video was a joke, a vehicle with good low end will win a 300' drag race every time, big deal. Part throttle a boosted vehicle will all ways feel stronger, unless you have a 514 or 502 big block. A lot of people base their opinion just by part throttle performance, not the whole story.

They said it was all they had for room in the parking lot at Six Flags.

They should have looked a little harder, SA Raceway was just about 30 minutes down the road. A new Pentastar V-6 Wrangler might have won at the "Six Flags Drag Way".

In my reality, I only use part throttle. I can count the times on one hand I've floored the pedal from a dig. If a 1/2 throttle turbo wins the driving experience around town, that's all I care about.

I do understand the difference between pure drag racing and running around town though. I'm sure the 5.0 is highly competitive when racing.

I am not here to say the 3.5 EB is slower but I bet the 2.7 EB is slower. That video was the strangest acceleration test that I have ever seen.
If you or anyone else think's the Eco Boost trucks are only fast from 0-287 ft you would be crazy!!!!You ran 0-60 in 5.61 seconds?Car&Driver ran 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and 14.3@95 mph in the 1/4 mile with a 2015 Super Cab 4X4 with the 2.7L Eco Boost. My own 2015 Super Cab 4X4 2.7L Eco Boost 3.55 gears and 20" wheels ran a 14.56@93.07 mph bone stock with only 2 passes on it.

Here's a link to my 5.0 RCSB in the 1/4. I'm not the best at launching from the line. Nor is this to prove anyone that the 5.0 is better or not than the ecoboost. Both awesome engines.

What time did you run. It seemed to only show the right lane.
