Default 2016 Dash Warping

Is this normal or is it warping? I asked the service advisor at Blue Springs Ford yesterday and he gave me a run around regarding it taking all day to take photos and submit to Ford. I'm well within warranty- he just seemed like he didn't want to bother with it.

You can have it replaced 1000 times and each replacement will warp. All you're doing is opening up a potential can of squeaks and rattles.

No problem. For the life of me I can't figure out why Ford hasn't addressed this.

I tinted my front windshield and the warp has been kept to a minimum.

I don't think it's a sun exposure issue. New trucks straight off the trailer are coming with dashes that look the same. I think it's just cheap materials, poorly molded and poor fitting.

Mine has both sides like this, plus the two major ones closer to the center in front. I do not like the major ones, but they are out of site for me. The other ones are not really bad to me. I sure hope ford builds a better dash in the current remake that they are working on. This is not acceptable in a modern vehicle today. They have had issues for years with the current design, but have made no changes. That is garbage.

It's a little disappointing. The 2012 Honda Civic had similar problems (cheap plastics on interior) and Honda scrapped the entire interior and did a major overhaul for 2013. Literally one year of bad and they decided it was important enough to fix it.

Yup, my 16 had the dash warp as well, by the front left and right of the top dash cubby/headlight sensor...
