Same thing here with a new steering rack being put in mine! After that, it’s almost as if Ford treated me as if they’ve done enough and I should just learn to live with it. I feel your frustrations!

No, but I am surprised the new steering rack had no effect. That is where the steering position sensor is located . I wonder if they retained the old sensor in the swap? Look at your invoice to see although they often fail to be all inclusive. If they changed the rack a calibration should have been done to learn lock to lock and center the steering wheel. Go back and ask them if they would do it again. As far as I know IDS the Ford program is needed to do it.

They changed the rack in January 2018 right after I bought it. If I change the steering position sensor on the rack would that correct the steering?

I found this intriguing, but a technician connected his laptop to my truck while reading the position of the steering wheel in regards to the sensors. While we were both Inside the truck and looking at it, it showed based on the sensors that my steering wheel was perfectly lined up to centre (as far as the sensors were concerned). That is despite the wheel being off-centred to the left and never able to drive with a straight wheel down a straight road with no crown. I’m no expert but it led me to believe the problem is not relating to the sensors.

I have a 2015 KR and 2015 Platinum, the KR drives true and straight aftermarket wheels, the Platinum was on stock rims and pulled to the right so much so, you can see on the steering wheel the wear pattern of whoever owned it previously. I bought it with 100k miles on the clock. I took it for alignment several times and even took it to the dealer to update the steering component software TSB, none of it fixed it but what DID fix it was putting 1.5 hub centric spacers on the the wheels. Just my two cents. I

So I haven't read through this whole thread, but from what I have read, seems like it's the same issue I'm having on my 2020 XL. The truck seems to want to pull relatively hard to the right to the point I'm having to keep the steering wheel pulled toward the left. Is this the issue everyone else in here has been noticing? Does it warrant a dealer trip? Truck only has 250 miles on it so well within warranty coverage.

Yes go back to them and have them look at it.
