Default 2016 2.7L running issues

I have had my 2016 for a few months now, it has 38,xxx miles. There have been a few instances that it feels like a complete dog, like the turbos are not working. One of the times was on the expressway and it couldn't even keep pace at 80 mph on cruise without dropping down into 5th and 4th gear.
I have taken it to the dealership and they cannot recreate this issue.
Do you guys have any ideas?

Did it only happen the one time? Doesn't sound right to me. I can cruise at that speed in 6th gear and still accelerate pretty good if needed. If it was only once, glitch. More than that, you might have a turbo leak or stuck wastegate or something.

Did you take it to another dealership? What kind of tests they did? It could be several things...

It happened the 1 time on the expressway but then again on my commute to work this morning. It does not through any codes either.

Could be the wastegate as boost suggested.

Your just blowing out your PSI and not getting any pressurized air into the the intake.

What range of RPM are we talking about here (80mph on 6th gear)? It could be lag as well even if the EB engines are built to spool much earlier than cars.

Never heard of a wastegate issue. The majority of the problems encountered with EB engines are turbochargers going bad.

Could be engine/transmission hesitation as well. We would need a video.

At 80 (the few times I've been that fast) my 3.31 geared 2.7 would shift out of 6th randomly to keep pace too. About the only way I could tell though was seeing the indicator drop to 5th or see a few hundred rpm increase on the tach. You could also watch the fuel gauge drop............
