Thanks so much Firerunner. This is the trim piece I found. Part Number: FL3Z-1504339-DB. Does this look right to you? I have the black metallic truck with gray seats, black carpet.

I cant believe that no one has made a retrofit harness for this. I bought some mirrors that are 22pin and i had 8 pin mirrors, Thinking I mite do some work and re-pin the 22pin connector and see if that will make the Heat, Power adjust, and turn signal work. Call me crazy but shouldn't be to difficult.

I found these 8 pin to 22 pin adapters on ebay:

Also it looks like the XLT tow mirrors FL3Z-17683-AC and FL3Z-17682-AC have gone from around 800.00 a piece to around 400.00 a piece.

I have a 2016 XLT that I am looking to do the Tow Mirror swap on. I know that FL3Z-17683-AC and FL3Z-17682-AC are what is needed. Are these 8 pin mirrors? Or 22?

What I did was get FL3Z-17683-AC and FL3Z-17682-AC for my XLT, then I went on ebay and bought 2 8 pin to 22 pin harness', link below. This allowed me to install the mirrors and still have the options I had before. Heated, power adjust and turn signals. I did also buy the 22 pin door harness' and spotlight parts that I plan on installing when the weather gets warmer.

Were you able to do this? So I just acquired some 22pin mirrors for my 16 XLT. However, my current 8 pin mirrors only have power .Nothing else. Am in out of luck? I did purchase the 22pin to 8pin adapter, and it has an extra blue wire not pinned to anything.
