If you can get the truck for under $40k it's worth it. Anything more than that and I don't think the truck is worth it.

for the record not everyone is having problems. The vast majority are not having problems. Internet forums are notable for attracting a disproportional number of people looking for answers to problems when they have them and a point to vent the growing frustrations with said problems.

Early June 15 build, bought on 4th of July. 0 issues.

msrp 49,750 purchase price 39,250

sig not showing details so this is what i purchased:
2015 F-150 SCREW| Grey Metallic| FX4| Chrome package| floor Console| 3.5 TT EcoBoost| other knick knacks

Considering Ford sells ~50,000 of these every month, keep the problem ratio in context! Of course it sucks if you're the lucky one with a problem.....but overall, most are problem free. Forums always represent the "hard-core" enthusiasts who will post up anything & everything, which is good & bad...and does require some self control on your info overload when reading through it all. Now, having said all that, I'm totally smitten with this truck. I've had no issues (knocking on wood..), and am just more amazed and impressed every time I drive it. Previous vehicle was a '15 Honda Odyssey Elite, a $50K minivan, and I can honestly say, this F150 makes the Ody seem like a log wagon. Drove the Dodge & Chevy as well, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.... both were nice, but no equal, IMO. I thought I would buy time until the new Ridgeline comes out next year, but I might keep this one for a while..

I bought my 2015 in June. I can say that I haven't had any issues or problems. I am very satisfied with mine.

I'm struggling between waiting for the New Ridgeline, because it's all the truck I really need -- or upgrading to a full-size F-150. Tundra is also on the table.

I've had my Ridgeline for 10 years on Thanksgiving Day. The struggle to wait longer is real. Although I want a full size truck that is as pleasant and comfortable to drive as the Ridgeline has been.

my first ford
my first truck

Its love hate, I really like the ride and power of the truck, and having a plat. all the bells and whistles

I hate the honking horn, non-cooling seats

and OMG, cup holders that can't hold cups (in the doors) my 2008 and previous 2005 Honda Odyssey had cup holders in the door that held cups, wtf! the consoled cup holders are a cool design, unsure how long the rubber will hold up.

I've had 2 electrical gremlins that aren't worth going to dealer over.

Would it be worth it to trade for 2015 f150 or should I consider going back to Toyota? Just glancing at this forum on the 2015 f150 and it seems like it has a ton of issues.
What roof leak issues, the only thing I've ever heard of on prior years are the third brake light leaking. And after a redesign for 2015, that's not fixed yet, according to a recent forum member post.

You have only one issue, if you read this forum, the only thing members have not had a complaint about are the tires! All except those that say there truck has no problems, and is great!

The fact is you know what you have today, and your going to spend literally thousands of dollars to buy a 2015/16 and loose thousands! If you have the cash to roll the dice, good luck!

Had my 2015 for 3.5 months and 6,000 miles. Only issue is an ongoing and really irritating moonroof rattle.

Get a late build one and you will have all TSB's done. I don't regret my truck for a second!

I went from a 13 to a 15 and don't regret it one bit. I have 6k on the 15 now and haven't had any issues. I had 50k on the 13 and had no issues with that one either. I personally feel the 15 drives so much smoother and quieter than the 13. I hated the ride in the 13, it was extremely rough and you felt every bump.

So I had a 2011 and now have a 15. Loved my 2011, 5.0 fx4 lux package screw. 15 is a lariat 2.7 501a. Creature comforts, overall inside outside look, engine and ride are all better in my opinion. I love my truck, but and big but, I've had loose leather on seat, ac seats not working, rear armrest won't stow, windshield cowl snapped while driving, wind leak and door rattle driverside, moon roof rattle and now tcase or 4x4 issue. Total time in shop 33 days and counting. I'm sure ford has fixed many of the issues on later 15, mine was an April build, must have been a Friday.

Even with all these issues I still love the truck and if I had to get another one I will.
