Default 2015 with paint issues

Anyone noticed any little pinholes on their hoods. Looks like solvent pop. I'm not really sure but I used clay bar to smooth but still have little holes. Not like the whole hood but random all over hood. What you guys think? Should I just ignore it or take it up with Ford?

I have a little paint run on my door sill, and the starts of a drip on the tip of my hood....I'm leaving it alone. But it sounds like your missing paint, so I'd take it up to them ASAP.

Pictures?

I was trying to get pics but the holes are so small can't really get them to come out on cell. I'm gonna leave it alone I think. Just haven't seen this before on one of my new vehicles.

If the pinholes are in the paint, that would indicate a contaminant either in the paint or on the sheet metal prior to paint. Definitely something you should at least have documented in case the paint decides to delaminate in the near future.

Its waterborne paint. No solvent

True, and if there was an oil/solvent based contamination on the panel or in the painting equipment, this can be the end result.

Just be clear. The base coat is waterborne, the clear coat is solvent.
