Default 2015 offset and tire size help.

Hello,

New here and new to Ford trucks, always had a Siverado. Before I get yelled at for not searching the forum, I did and came up with not what I was looking for. I searched several forums and Google but came up short.

I have a 2015 Supercab 4X4, a fabtech 2" level going on next weekend. My biggest concern is not having enough offset or to much offset. I am getting 18" wheels to replace the stock 17's that came on the truck. I would love to run 33's or 34's, 11 or 12 inches wide. I'm not a fan of the tires sticking out to much. I'm also concerned about rubbing. So many offsets and tire size combinations to wrap ones head around.

Any help would be great and very much appreciated.

I done some research so I'll save you some time, to be 100% safe Just stay around +20mm offset give or take a little, 9" wide on rim, 34" tall, and no more then 11.5 to 11.8" max wide tire and should be good to go. The demon on these truck are the crash bars.

Thank you Cajuntriton!!! I'm thinking of staying between 33.2 and 33.7, also probably have to stay with a 275, 285 or maybe 295 at far end. Ideally I would love a 305 but that would be really pushing it with the +20 offset. Again, thank you....

I'll be putting 305/65/18's on at 0mm with a 2.5" level tomorrow. It's gonna be close...

How wide are your wheels? 9.5?

1010tires tells me you're going to stick out about an inch on the front and probably a half inch on the rear

Yup, I'd have you this same info. Stick with 9" +20 if you don't want to stick out too far, and don't want rubbing.

So does that mean if I do a 305/55/20 with a +20 offset, it will rub? Also does it hurt anything or void any warranty to cut the crash bars off?

You can get away with 295 and 33-34", 305 will be pushing it. I'm running 295/60/20, 33.9 x 11.8, 2.25" level, OEM wheels +44mm, I'm debating 1-1.25" spacers or around +20mm aftermarket, looks good as is so taking my time.

Let me ask you this. If I stick with 17's with a 8.5" rim, what offset/backspace would be good with 285/75-17's to keep from rubbing? Thank you....
