Truck looks good btw OP!
Thanks, Now that I have my wheels and tires on I'm very happy with it.

And yes woking on new rocks. I have a 68 mustang and removing the spindles on that thing after 40 years took me days. Literally!

What a pain in the ***! I tried, saturday, to get a 2" leveling kit installed. I got everything off, spacer installed but couldn't get the damn strut back it without risking dropping the truck on myself. I'm gonna go buy a 26mm socket to drop the lower control arm. Pisses me off.

Should be able to use a pry bar under the lower strut and above the lower control arm. Pull up on the bar and watch the strut ride down the bar and back into the control arm. At least that's what I did with like 2 minutes of struggle.

Yeah, that's what I did. It popped in in less that 15 seconds using a pry bar

That was my second attempt at this stupid kit. I'll try it again but I'm going to have that socket to remove the control arm. I wanted to drive that truck straight in the water after failing.

My pry bar wasn't a dedicated pry bar if you know what I mean.

Harbor freight should have a cheap dedicated pry bay or crow bar that can give some leverage

I had no problem getting my shocks in it was getting them out that was difficult. Make sure you disconnect the sway bar links and when you get the shock out you want to hammer the two bottom bolts out of the strut before trying to put it back in.
