Default 2015 led bulbs turning blue

Hi I have a 2015 xlt. I installed led headlight bulbs in the halogen housings. I started with f150leds and went through three or four sets before swapping to an amazon brand. All of the bulbs have turned blue on me. Not just one headlight, it alternates. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas what could be causing it? While dealing with f150leds they said they had never heard of this situation happening.

thanks

Post a link to your bulbs. Seems like a quality issue with the bulbs themselves. From some quick Google Fu, it seems perhaps the LED chips are overheating. Do they go back to normal after the truck sits for a while? Do your bulbs have fans built-in or just heatsinks?

I went through 3 or 4 sets of the MKIII versions of these bulbs before they went out of warranty.

It means they are burning out, I had that happen with junk bulbs. Get some quality bulbs like Diode Dynamic SL1 and don't look back.

Cheap LED chips will turn blue as the cheap phosphor coating craps out, as the LED is actually emitting blue light.

OMW, an XHP-50 flashlight chip. Don't use LED bulbs with square chips! You need LED's that match the position and size of the halogen filaments. The housings are designed for light coming from the position of the filaments in the bulb type they were designed to use, anything else is going to results in artifacts and a waste of light that could be used to light the road in front of you.

The below is just an example, our bulbs are not dual filament and do not have shields, but the same rules apply. Currently bulbs with Z-ES and CSP chips are the best matches.

Cute picture and explanation except it's impossible to match the "positions of the filaments."

Anyone that puts LEDs or HIDs into halogen housings is a POS.
