Default 2015 IWE or something else?

I had Rancho Quicklifts coilovers installed today. Picked up truck, drove back to office, 415 miles. No issues. On way home I could hear some grinding noise from front end, driver side.

Get kids to bed, going to drive to try to recreate noise. Backing out of driveway actually required throttle. Felt like something was binding/keeping the driver side wheel from spinning. Pulling forward there is a light grinding noise when turning the wheel.

Tried putting it in 4wd no change.

The last time I backed up in the video, it didn’t even move, so I pulled forward and parked it.

Thoughts?

I thought so too. But, it was the result of the a-hole mechanic.

Just put driver side back together and drove a little. All good. Breaking down passenger side to make sure it’s tight too.

Passenger side is good, except the lug nuts were not 150 ft-lbs (driver side wasn’t either). I’ll be having a talk with the shop tomorrow morning. I should have just done the work myself at this point.

That mechanic would be buying you a new wheel!

I’m more concerned about the rotor than I am the wheel. But I’m throwing it all up against the window and we’ll see what they have to say.

This shop has done 3 other leveling kits in the past for me with no issues. Thankful nothing happened on my way home with my daughter with me.

I know the manual says 150# torque for wheels. it seems like a lot. tech for a lot of years and usual was 70# I put wheel locks on my new 2019 and the 4 lugs I took off did not seem tighter than usual?
