The only ones afraid are the competitors.
That's like Airbus starting street myths that the rivets Boeing is using causes the wings to fall off mid-flight.

I fricking well know Ford will offer 3 bed sizes on the new F-150. I am also aware Ford has in the past restricted bed sizes depending upon the damn trim level. You can't buy a crew cab Limited with a 6.5' bed now can you? The fact that Ford specifically list the Lariat as having a 6.5' bed and the King Ranch as having a 5.5' bed concerns me.

Well, the Lariat that was on display had a 6.5ft bed and the King Ranch that was on display had a 5.5ft bed. That display sign is just telling people what each truck is and what it has on it. The way you seem to be interpreting it, to me at least, would mean that the Lariat crew cab has a standard 6.5ft bed, which isn't true.

Well, one thing is for sure...the 2015 Lariat Crew Cab has been viewed in public with both 5.5' and 6.5' beds, so no debate there.

To improve ground clearance, longer control arms are needed, right? How did other peoples' setups go, where can you get the longer control arms, and about how much did the whole upgrade cost?

Make one Dark Blue, and you would have mine. Hope prices are not too bad. These things are starting to look better to me.

No way is that happening. They're not going to do an all new body out of an all new material after 2 years of production of the newest style.
