2015 F-150 install new kicker speakers
Hello,
I upgraded the speakers in my supercab today and I took some pictures for who every is interested.
I gutted the all plastic factory speakers and used the frames to mount the new speaker and soldered the new speaker wires to the plug on the factory speaker frames so when remounted the factory harness plugged back in.
Going to install an amp and subs next.

Probably picking up a new f150 this week and after the experience with with my old one this is the first project. Is there a good place to hide a small amp under the dash? The 13-14 had room behind the control panel to hide a small 4x50.

Actually the "bigger" bigger magnets are just traditional ferrite magnets where as the OEM ones are neodymium which are much smaller and lightweight. It's not that bigger magnets require more power but that the kickers are just lower sensitivity in design.
