I heard the 3.5 ecoboost did 0-60 in 5.6 seconds so I'd expect a 3.73 5.0 to break into the 5s.

It's unfortunate that Ford is brushing the 5.0 under the mat, because in the '15 it's butter smooth and the power delivery is fantastic. I really like the 3.5 Ecoboost in the '15 but It's going to be a tough choice between staying with the 5.0 and going with the 3.5 when I trade up next year, because both are awesome.

You certainly can't go wrong with either motor. It gets me every time I'm in town and an f-150 with 5.0 and exhaust takes off beside me. I love hearing that rumble!! I went to my local dealer a few days ago to drive one with the 5.0 but all four of their 15's had the 2.7 or 3.5 ecoboost.

I think Ford sent out the 5.0 with 3.31 gears for the drag times video. My truck is way quicker. I can hear just how it revs up. I'll race any ecoboost with my 5.0 3.73 combo.
