I doubt it, I drove a 2.7 for a good 15 minutes and I was only seeing 16's.

The guy who posted that is a complete and total tool! (other forum)

I have seen the dealer order guides and there are NO mpg numbers listed.

Its so obvious its a WAG as the towing numbers also way off.

I went to the one in Oakhurst nj on oct.25. It was in the parking lot at a Bj's.
There wasn't a big turn out,so they let us drive them longer. Why would I BS about it. Guys like you think you know everything.

Who knows, but he said he was thumbing through the "dealer guide." It could have been the Source Book which does list mpg numbers.

Has anyone here seen the Source Book?

I can't imagine any reasonable EPA MPG rating that would cause me NOT to buy the truck. So "no news" is simply "no news" for me. I will have to go try to find another Youtube video of the F150 that I have already seen.

I hope the reason why they are putting off posting the fuel economy numbers is because they will be a huge improvement. It's going to be a lot harder to sell all of the 2014s if the fuel economy is a lot better. It's the number one consideration for a lot of people. Mike levine just shared this:

21.3 mpg combined in a super crew driving aggressive. Sounds like quite an improvement to me.

I've noticed as more and more reviews come out for the truck the claimed MPG is getting higher and higher. The first review I read over a month ago said they got like 16.8. That's also the lowest tested mpg I've heard. The latest review is easily the highest observed fuel economy I've read about. I wouldn't put it past ford that somehow they did that on purpose.

17.8 combined for the 3.5EB and no numbers posted for the 5.0 or NA 3.5.
