Wasnt any hassle...approved right away. Im not confident new dash wont warp but having a warranty issue and not getting it foxed drives me nuts

Best of luck to you .The reason that Ford has said not to fix fhem is because there is not current fix. Replacing the dash will not fix it permanently based on the track ecorda of others here. Some have had it done two and three times.

Agai, best of luck by guess is that not only will it not truly fix the issue, but you'll wind up with a multitude of other noises, creaks, etc from ripping out the dash and replacing.

My 2018 XLT dash is the same as that last picture. It is a lease, so I'm not going to bother with it...along with the handful of other problems.

What other issues are you having? My 18 has been flawless less a missing rubber bumper on the driver door and the dash warp

Don't care....I'm making Ford spend some money....if its warping before warranty is up Ill try to get it fixed again.

I was actually more thinking of you . It's not a question of IF it will warp again. It will. On the other hand there are multiple stories of rattles, creaks and noises after dash install .

I would personally rather a slightly warped dash that I have to really look for to see over noises I'll hear ever time I drive the truck.

Just wait until your 2 weeks from running out the warranty, and then get a new dash installed... at lest then, you start out with a brand new dash, in a 3 year old truck.
