When I bought my Lariat it was on the dealer lot for about 2 months, outside in their storage lot. We have very hot summers. No warping whatsoever.

Default 2015 Dash Warp?

Well, I've sent a notice of defect off to Ford. I realize that some may not have this issue, but i wonder whats different? It may simply have been a bad run of that part. I'm hoping thats the case, but it truly is a bad design - having done molding and tooling design early in my career. There is NO support running that span at all. When this was first noticed and taken to my dealer they were going to replace the whole dash, but then Ford said to wait. The dealer was worried that they would replace the parts only to have it happen again. I'm really concerned that if they replace it that I'll have all kinds of rattles and things. Nothing ever goes back together the same it seems. We shall see. I will keep everyone posted as to what my dealer does and more importantly what Ford does. In the meantime, folks should talk to there dealers about this...and post the discussion if you could. If you get this fixed, let us know what was done, and if seems to have worked!

The Lariat has a different layout and design on the dashboard. My lariat had been on the dealer lot for almost 8 months and also has no warping.

Looks to be an XLT issue, any Lariats or Platinums have it?

I recently looked at an XLT that my sales guy purchased. He had a small bulge on the passenger side of his dash. I pushed down on the area and immediately felt how thin the dash is. It's very flimsy. Today I looked at my truck which is a Lariat. No warping whatsoever. When I pushed down in the same place as I did in the XLT I felt how solid and firm the Lariat is. There is definitely a difference in dash materials and I personally believe the XLT is much more prone to warping. Just my .02 cents.

Went to Ford dealer today where I bought my truck to show them. They were shocked, then we walked out on the lot and I'd say one in 5 had the issue. Lariats and XLT's, so don't think your Lariat trimins are going to save you...........

My two week old XLT sport is starting to warp. Shame, I've owned cars half the price that had higher quality than this truck.

Must have used rotten tomatoes to make the dash plastic.

I'd like to hear what experience everyone is having with their dealers when this problem is discussed? Are they offering a fix? Ignoring it? I should have added a poll to thread.

I had already a buy back action with my 2015 Mustang. Mailed right away to my CSM and got right away the advice to go after my vacation to the dealer back and she would open a case for me. She was shocked about the pictures and apologized for the new trouble.
