I think 33.9 is close enough. Your right I have 33.9x 12.0 why pay that much extra just so you can say35" and why not go a hit smaller and not trim and cut a brand new truck.... Just my two cents but you are correct 305 is smaller

Great info on this thread. I am also looking to do a Fox, Icon, or Boss kit very soon. I am just trying to figure out which one rides the nicest. I definitely don't see it any firmer. I am looking for that nice plush Raptor ride in my 2016.

I haven't had the Fox or Kings kits but the Boss kit rides better on the road than the icon does. The Icon would be better at high speeds off road though and takes big bumps well but the small ones are all felt. The boss kit is the opposite and take small bumps better than bigger ones. I have the boss kit on my 16 and like the ride and handling it provides. I had the Icon on my 15

Hey thanks. So with your Boss Ultimate Kit would you say it rides firmer or the similar to stock? I am also assuming those tires are E load rating tired too which can make it feel firmer. Any negative handling characteristics you can think of?

I am just trying to ensure I don't go backwards in ride and handling on my new truck. I did that to myself a while back with another vehicle I had. It looked cool but it rode like crap on even small bumps.

I don't think the ride is worse than stock. I actually prefer the ride of the Boss compared to stock and the handling is definitely better and will be with any aftermarket coiler kit. The tires are more firm than stock for sure but I don't think its harsh. The only problem I have had is getting the tires balanced and since then they had been great.

I had Icon stage 2 and Toyo at2 tires on my 15 platinum and I didn't like the tires. I wouldn't hesitate to buy icon again but for what I use my truck for they wouldn't benefit me more than the boss kit.

The boss kits or the fox 2.0 kit will ride better on the road normally compared to kings, icons, or the fox 2.5's. The 2.0 kits are kind of the happy medium for the person who spends most of the time on the pavement and a little bit of time on back roads, gravel roads and etc, for hunting camping and what not. The benefits of the 2.5 coilovers are that they can take more abuse and have more dampening for a better ride (not necessarily better then the 2.0's). The 2.5's can also come with reservoirs which can come (if you pay for it) with the compression adjustment *****. These allow you to adjust your high speed and low speed softness/ firmness of your ride quality so you can find the ride that you personally prefer. The 2.5 kits cost a lot more than the 2.0 ones do but have a lot more capability. However for most people they are overkill. In the end it's about what you the buyer really wants and how much your able to pay.

I have fox 2.0's and the ride is much nicer than stock. Firmer and less rocking around like a boat. I noticed today coming to work that they have really broken in nicely. The rough roads that used to crack and pop my interior with the stock shocks are now smoothly absorbed.

The Fox 2.0 on my 2014 are nice on the street, but suck hitting any kind of rough terrain at more than 30mph. I'll be looking into 2.5s soon.

If you are just wanting to level and run 35's I have the Rancho quicklifts. Totally adjustable for ride preference and are not as pricey as the fox or icons.

Sorry about the picture I don't know why it is turned sideways.

Here is a picture of our customers 2015 F150 2WD with our Upper arm and 4" lift spindle running 17" wheels and 35" tires. We had to still do some trimming too. He is going to be adding Coilovers very soon. JT
That truck looks really nice! I am torn on which route I should go. I am not opposed to doing trimming or buying Fiberwerx fenders to run 35's. I wish someone was making a 3.0 shock setup for these trucks opposed to just a 2.5. I realistically want about 3-4" of lift but still make it able to perform like my old raptor if I am ever put into that situation. Eventually do some Deavers in the rear but to start just blocks and 2.5s in the rear and 2.5: up front.

If I do the King 2.5's up front and have hem raised 2.75" will a rear 3" block be alright?
