Default 2015 coilover cost?

Just got my tuxedo black 2015 fx4 xlt. Super nice. It is the 302a package (have middle shifter w/ nav and all the goodies) and leather seats. I'm looking to put some coilovers on for my birthday (24 in February.). I've looked at fox and halo and just want personal experience and price after everything was said and done! Cost of parts, and cost of someone putting it together. I'm ballin on a budge (because I work full time and go to college full time) so any tips would be awesome!

Also... I wanna see some pics! I'd like a 3" with some black wheels. Show me what you've got!

If on a budget then i'd look at the Rancho Quicklift struts. $380 for the pair, they give ~2.5" of lift in the front, excellent reviews. I recently bougth them after researching and was quoted $120 for instal and $80 for the alignment after so an all in price of $580. I bought them back in the fall when they had a rebate going on where if you bought 4 "shocks" the would refund the price of one of them, so i bought the matching rears at $99 a piece (with one being "free"). There was mention of an upcoming rebate beginning Mar 1st if you want to wait.

You probably don't want to hear this but if you go 3" on a coilover alone with no lift you are asking for trouble in your front end components. I went with Fox coilovers and installed myself. Paid about $680

Had fox on the 14, went halo this time. Rachcos had more bad reviews that Ive seen than good. Is it a good budget buy, yes, but your money would be better served with bilstiens or a puck level
I like fox and halo since Ive had both...front and back run~1k....less if stage 3 runs a sale
Install Ive seen a couple hundred to nesr a grand..a grand is purely rip off...choose a shop by reference only including ford dealers.. many have had IWEs go bad due to someone not knowing what they are doing...one guy had it happen from a Ford dealer install...most places make it right, just a hassle of time and a headache

You may want to look at a boss set up. We have run these a lot.

Thanks for the heads up. This is honestly the first time I'm adding these options. I plan on running 20's on 33 but I'm new at this so I'm glad you gave me the input. What would you or anyone else recommend doing? just a 2.5 coil overs?
