Default 2015 bedliner

I'd like to start out by stating I am new to this forum and this is my first pickup and post.

I did not see any threads specifically for 2015 f150 bed liner and figured since they changed why not ask.

What are everyone's thoughts on the spray in bed liners specifically on the 2015? Anyone else do an aftermarket LineX or Rhino? What are your thoughts/opinions? Will the aluminium affect anything?

I ordered a factory sprayed on my new platinum.

Josh

Hi.

Use Advanced Search (in this case, Title Search, restricted to 2015 forum; 'bed liner'. or 'bed+liner' ... )

I didn't get the spray in.

I'm getting a plastic drop in liner for around $200.

My truck will be used as a truck. The bed liner will get torn up. If it's trashed in 5 years, I will get another liner. If your spray in liner gets trashed good luck replacing it.

I think that's a little narrow-minded. Plenty of people use their truck "as a truck" and spray-in bedliners are designed with that in mind. Not to say that every spray-in is created equal, but unless you're dumping an excavator bucket of scrap metal into the bed of your truck every day, they should hold up fine!

Actually, I'm sure I will be hauling scrap metal in it. And scrap wood, gravel , stone and trash etc. With the drop in when it gets all gouged and scraped up in a few years, I get a new one.

What can you do if your spray in gets all torn up?

I'm sure the spray in will hold up for light use.

We have spray-in liners in our trucks here at work and they throw all manner of scrap, pipe, tools, machines, gravel, you name it in the bed, all day every day and they hold up just fine.

Not disparaging your choice of a drop-in liner, as they have their benefits too, but implying that a spray-in can't handle a tough job is unfair I think.
