Those look pretty cool actually... I'm really tempted to buy a set myself to test out the LED's in them... people keep emailing me to find out if LED kits (and HID kits) will fit in there... I honestly have no clue... where would you put the ballast/etc.

When you installed them do you recall if the interior had a big opening like on the OEM? (meaning, a place to hide an LED or HID ballast?).

What price did you pay for them and from where? My distributor prices SUCK on Anzo, i think I can get them cheaper on amazon.

1. Will I need a relay harness and capacitor installed? Or will the relay harness alone deal with the flicker?
2. Where are you getting the power from to run the outer LED when ignition is on. (remember, explain like I'm 5 years old).
3. Recommended HID kit
4. Why not a 55W HID kit?
5. Can someone please post a picture of their wiring harness just to get an idea how messy it can get?
1) yes to relay and capicator
2) ANZO headlights are prewired to light up the LED
Winjet headlights you will need external power
3) a lot of people have used the hid kit from the retrofit source, cheaper brands like opt7 and such are fine as well
4) not sure why 55w kit wouldn't work but it might draw more current
5) you can scroll through this thread as some have posted install pics. Mine is very clean looking with the wires being hide.
Really a simple install if you have installed HID's before

One tip I'll give you if you go ANZO hid direction.
Check the height of your halogen beam and tape it off. This way you will have a reference point when you install your HID's
Check your aim before you bolt everything back up.

You have to wire the led into an ignition power source or they will only work when the lights are on I believe. I used an add-a-circuit in the fuse box which works fine. Led's come on when truck is on.

correct if you want them on all the time you will need to add a circuit. Or you can get the led to come on by my turning on your lights to the second position or more

Pardon my ignorance, but after watching the ANZO install, I just don't get which wire you attach to the add a circuit to power the LEDs.

You do not need to add a circuit if you bought Anzo's. They come prewired and uses existing marker light connector. I have installed 3 sets of these. Simple.

Winjets on the other hand, require the "add a circuit". Although I have not installed Winjets before.

I was referring to the wiring so that the LED is on with the ignition instead of having to turn on the headlights and/or parking lights.
