Default 2015 4x4 issues

I have a 2015 4x4 Crew cab 3.5L EcoBoost that is randomly throwing error codes on th HUD. The usual result of this is a loss of power steering. This is the only issue that I noticed until it occurred today where it seems to have disabled the engine cutoff.

This all occurs randomly and I cannot find a way to duplicate them. Previously this would keep occurring but for the past 2 days it will go through the errors 2-3x, I lose power steering and then it stops but the auto start/stop isn't working.

I did get this into the shop to be looked at for a sever oil leak and they did say they say a bunch of codes that were thrown previously but it wasnt occurring at that time and they could not trigger it.

Not sure what my next step should be but this has started occurring while driving and I'm worried what else might go wrong at highway speeds since I mainly get this to and from work.

Here are pictures of the errors.

SSM 46139 - 2015/2016 -F-150 - Intermittent Loss Of Throttle Response - Multiple Warning Indicators And/Or Multiple Diagnostic Trouble Codes

(DTCs)Some 2015-2016 F-150 vehicles may experience intermittent loss of throttle pedal response, illuminated wrench, hill descent, airbag, anti-lock brake system (ABS) and/or advanced trac warning indicators and/or P2122, P2123, P2124, P2125, P2127, P2128 and/or P2138 DTCs. This may be caused by the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 14A005 harness being improperly routed behind the brake booster to brake pedal bracket. If the harness is improperly routed, loosen the bracket to free the harness. Inspect and repair damaged circuits before properly routing the harness. If the harness is properly routed, proceed with normal diagnostics in the Workshop Manual (WSM).

SSM 46667 - 2015-2017 F-150- Intermittent Lack Of Steering Assist - Multiple Illuminated Warning Indicator Lamps

Some 2015-2017 F-150 vehicles may exhibit multiple illuminated warning indicators and an intermittent lack of steering assist. Prior to performing any diagnosis or repair, visually inspect the 3C221 wire harness near the air compressor pulley for possible damage.

For what it worth and so that we are not using incorrect terminology the instrument panel cluster display is not a HUD.

I would let the shop have it until fixed with a loaner. They can see the codes, not sure if it is even safe to drive.

I have an OBD2 reader and it's not throwing any codes when running the diagnostics. would it not be able to show past codes only current ones?

inwould take it in for a loaner however they haven't found or been able to duplicate the issue so I'm not sure what if any work they did other then plug into the OBD2 port then drive it to try and get it to reoccur. I will have to call next week and ask if they have it notated if they saw the fault code mentioned previously and if it was investigated.

There is no guarantee that the OP would get a loaner since FoMoCo does not provide a loaner and there is no entitlement to a loaner by default. Some dealers provide a loaner but that is normally being provided by the dealer and not FoMoCo, with exception to some extenuating circumstances. Some extended warranties have provisions for a loaner as well as some insurance companies.

Let me start with I really do like my truck, but that is an issue ford needs to change, I take in either of my other cars for a warranty related issue that they will keep more than a day, I get a loaner, no questions asked. Both are European built and am treated great by the brand.

My dealer is pretty good about a free loaner and also shuttle service. I got one when I have the oil leak as well as a sensor replacement.

I was finally able to have the OBD2 reader connected when the issue started and errors were being displayed and No codes were thrown.
