Default 2015-2017 tpms

Have spent the last few days trying to clarify this, there are a few threads but older (2015) and conflicting. Hoping some folks could chime in and confirm 100%...

Do we know the confirmed part number for the 2015-2016 TPMS? Same expected for 2017?

Are they 315mhz or 433mHz?

The 1A189A below seems to be majority of concensus, but got confirmation from multiple ford sources saying the 1A189-E for 2017...:

F2GZ-1A189-A (315mHz)

F2GZ-1A189-E (433mHz)
http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/f2gz1a189e

General TPMS for 2016 search shows both? Assuming some for export vehicles maybe?

These will be used in a '17 Raptor if it matter

Thanks!

I don't believe that anyone has posted info on the 2017 TPMS, so there is no way to know if it's the same.

Nearly all have the same frequency as the prior years, 315, so that should be it - but when you look up parts by VIN it tells you the answer...

Thanks for your reply. If its 100% that 2015-2016 are 315mHz, then case is closed it is 1A189-A for 2015-2016. Some contradicting posts in other tpms threads here stating they are 433mHz led me to post.

I have input Vins for 2015 and 2016, they do give you the option of both 315/433. Plus Tasca and Ford ppl stating that 1A189-E (433mHz) is the correct unit for my 2017 added to fire. It could very well be that their new to 2017, but seems unlikley they changed

Plug your Vin in here. It will give you the frequency.

Not really. I have a 2017 F150 5.0 FX4 XLT and I can confirm that the TPMS is 433 MHZ. Part number: F2GZ-1A189-E. I called the dealer and they confirmed. I also checked the ETIS website and it also confirmed 433 MHZ.

Reckon after almost 4 years something may have changed.

315 MHz is a NA standard for primary vehicle TPMS.
433 MHz is a NA standard for trailer vehicle TPMS.
433 MHz is a EU standard for primary vehicle TPMS.

Oman1 is in Oman, with a EU vehicle (presumably), which is why TPMS is 433 mhz as shown. US and Canada is 315.

Yes, I am in Oman. As far as I know, the F-series is not sold officially in the EU (at least not the F150). Our specs are very similar to the Canadian specs except that the warnings and instructions are also written in Arabic. I believe even north American F series have a mix of 433 and 315 MHz.
