Default 2015-2017 Leveling Kit

Hey all,

I have never done it, but I am looking into a leveling kit for my 2017 F-150 Lariat FX4. My questions before I do this, does this change anything with handling, steering, road noise, suspension, and the big one, does it affect or void the warranty in any way? The next question, the parts look pretty cheap, $100-$200, but what is the install process like? Is this something I could do myself if I'm pretty good with tools, or something I should take to a shop for? I've seen posts about 1.5", 2", and 2.5" leveling kits, what is common with a '17 F-150? I'm guessing 2". How much does it really adjust your clearance? I live where parking ramps are a very common thing, some older ramps are a little risky already, just wondering how much more problems I'll be running into. Also why I'm cautious of things like steering too, those ramps can be quite tight. Let me know your feedback if you have any.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I've looked into that thread, and it started talking about rear blocks too - I could only imagine that if I'm lifting my rear too, I only want a leveling kit. Still haven't seen anything about doing it yourself vs a shop, and if it affects factory warranty, suspension, handling or anything like that.

I installed 2" leveling blocks this weekend. I haven't noticed any difference in driving or steering. I watched a video on youtube and it was very helpful. You will need air tools and a spring compressor.
