Default 2 day old 2017 10 speed tranny/driveline clunk

Just picked up a 2017 XLT Sport with the 3.5L/10 speed transmission..
Absolutely love the truck..
Test drive was fine but now with just 150 miles on the truck I'm hearing and feeling a driveline type of clunk only when applying the gas after slowing, it's fine on takeoff after a complete stop..
I notice when I feather the gas after slowing it's a little better but not gone.
Sure doesn't sound too good or healthy for the truck, it's a very noticeable metallic clunk.
I've owned many trucks and I'm familiar with the driveshaft spline clunk, requiring lube every now and then, just traded a 2010 that had that issue, but this is different..
Calling the dealer to have a look at it, just thought someone would have an idea or has the same issue.
It sounds like it could be the TC or some type of driveline clunk, weird...

It's normal. I think what it is is the transmission downshifting then shifting back up with throttle. It should smooth out when you get some more miles on it. Mine did it noticeably early on, but now I don't notice it nearly as much. I think the first 350 miles the computer and transmission learn your driving habits, the shifting can be a little rough. By 1000 miles, you'll barely notice it.

My 2017 did similar things but smoothed out after driving it a few hundred miles. Let the transmission learn and adapt.

I can attest to this as well. My 2017 is getting better now with 2k on it.

I do have what I think is a slip in the rear when turning tight but that may be the way the diff is as it's an open diff.

Little bit off topic but while we are on driveline, check you rear diff for leak/seep//stain. Mine seeped oil from the bottom theee bolts. Checked the torque it was at 33lb-ft. Cranked it up to 38lb-ft and I can feel the bolts turned like 1/8 and it has not leaked since then. Saved a trip to the dealer.

Same exact experience with mine. Really improved after 200 miles or so.

During the test drive it was really bad, but salesman had the drive selector in 4A! Switched to 2H and after putting some miles on it - much better!
