Go run a tank of ethanol free. I'll bet it's really, really close to what you hand calculate. Also, fill up in the morning.

Thumbs up

Just computed my MPG for our bowling tournament trip to Destin FL.
1030 Miles
52.4 Gallons
19.66 MPG

Dash reading were:
48.8 Gallons
21.11 MPG

6.86% difference

I am very happy with this MPG as I had 5 occupants, 500lbs of bowling equipment and luggage, 75 mph up and 78 mph back. This includes about 75 miles of city driving. I am currently running my MPT 93 Octane Performance/Tow tune.

I have 19,000 miles on mine... Live and commute in Dallas on N Dallas Tollway... stop and go traffic the whole way - ALWAYS average right at 20... so mixed driving I get 20..

On the HWY - I'm LUCKY to get 20 driving 75 MPH.. usually it's below 20... i get better MPG in town vs. HWY.. I also have the 20" wheels on mine which hurts MPG... Plus the 26 MPG rating was based on 55 MPH - not 75

Mostly commuting in North Georgia Appalachian foothills, I'm getting ~19 mpg and ~22 highway with 2,600+ miles driven. Break-in time made no difference, carrying a 800 lb. load 10 miles up and down hills made no or little difference. For about the last 500 miles I've mainly been using sport mode due to traffic and hills. It's a 2016 S-CAB. I'll make a 700 mile R/T in a week or so, that'll be the first real highway mileage test.

I'm a little over 1200 miles on the truck, up until last week I was getting 21.0 hand calculated, 21.2 according to the computer.

My last tank of gas I had 20x9.5 wheels, 33" BFG tires, and a 1.5" level installed, combined with slightly more aggressive driving and it's dropped to 17.1 mpg.

My speedometer is off, so once it's calibrated this weekend I'll get another tank of regular driving and see where I'm at.

Driving habits and driving environment will ALWAYS determine your mpg.

Well, and bigger tires/lifts of course.
You can baby the throttle all you want, drive 54 in a 55 mph zone and you're still not going to hit mid 20's with a lifted 2.7 with 35" mud tires.

This is exactly what I'm getting before the leveling kit and after but I haven't calibrated the speedometer yet either.

Not that I bought it for the MPG, but I'm hoping I'll be closer to the 18/19 mpg range once everything is calibrated.

Figure my old V8 Jeep never once broke 19 MPG for me, so doing that in a full size 4 door pick up truck is pretty dang good!
