I am blown away by over 20 mpg out of this big of truck in town, in the moutains of Southern West Virginia. Got mine for less than a mid level Tacoma cost, low 30's, found it on auto trader. Never had a real performance vehicle before, but this 2.7 will scar, I understand why great acceleration is so addictive. A good friend of mine has an older King Ranch with 3.5 ecoboost in Longview TX, this man works a truck, hay farmer big time, its Texas they don't do anything down there in a small way. He loves the truck not the first problem in 150k, I'm hoping that I'll get this kind of long term reliability out of my 2.7, so far it's the most awsome engine I've ever had in a vehicle! I wasn't a Ford man before this great looking truck, now the more I drive it the better I like it, in Race Red it turns heads. Every one now days make great trucks, but this aluminum body and small turbo powered full size truck raises the bar. I Love this truck, even though it's only a XL I couldn't be happier!

So far, i'm impressed! Only 300 miles so far (80 of that was today). the 2.7 is very quiet, and just purrs along. Transmission shifts smooth (just came from a Titan with a nightmare of a tranny).
A/C will freeze ya outta there. Hovering at 23.4 since I drove it off the lot!

I cant believe what im reading. I just figured there's no way im buying a truck with a small engine. this is a serious game changer on price if this is true. i can probably go up to a lariat if this engine works for me.
