*UPDATE* 2nd attempt worked well so far!
Stock piping with resonator
Flowmaster Super 50 Delta flow.
-Sounds as perfect as possible
Windows closed: sounds stock with a little more deepness. Almost like a V8 with stock exhaust.
Windows open: sounds noticeably louder and deeper. Above 3K RPM, back to import sports car 4 banger.
ZERO drone. This was my 2nd try before I go back to stock. I'm happy. I'll post a video soon as I get a chance.

I wish I had some throw away money and try a true dual setup with an h/x pipe and dual magnaflows. I had them on my turbo mustang and it was mellow but you could really hear the turbo whistling.
I wouild be afraid to go throught work/money and have it sound like crap since this 2.7 is not receiving exhaust modifications well.

Try it and let us know. I have a feeling it might sound like a Honda CRX when you're done. I would definitely keep the resonator if you're gonna use the Borla Atak because I believe that is a very aggressive muffler

Well I put a Corsa kit on my 2.7 EB. Sounded great on a cold start idle. Besides that I didn't like the sound at all. I ended up purchasing a Borla Pro XS 2.5/2.5 oval muffler which I installed in place of the resonator. Trucks sounds much better now as long as your not WOT. I'll take a video when I get the truck to cool down and find a 15mm deep socket that I'm missing as one of the new clamps is above the crossover brace that I can't get to with an adjustable wrench. I have to say it sounds good now. About half the volume and still no drone. I don't hear the turbo as much as I did before which is disappointing. All in all I think it sounds much better and I'll be keeping this way from now on.
