Beer, Boats, and Trucks.
Well if Trucker Bob says Ecoboost, I think we all know what the answer is!

These little displacement engines with turbos are so amazing that someday when they are really really cool i am going to have to dump my 5.0 v8.
Imagine how good they will be when we have a 95 cc single cylinder engine with 284 turbos on it.....wow ☺

I look at it from a duty cycle standpoint. Over 95% of the miles on my truck are driven with engine at or below 2500rpm. Most people have the same duty cycle.
From 800-2500rpms, the EB gives me a MUCH more enjoyable experience than a 5.0L. Passing people only requires a little bump on the throttle, not a 2500rpm jump to hit a power band. Towing is perfect for my needs.
Taking off from a stop lets me accelerate quickly without drawing attention from LEO's. I can get around people to merge or change lanes in town without needing to race up to 4000rpms.
As far as sound, I have a Kicker Soundstage for my sound... EB and good rock music is the best combination of engine and sound!
THAT is what I prefer with the EB. Just passed 123,000 miles this past week, still running strong!
