Default '15 regrets?

As someone who is a day or two a away from buying a new f150, I came here to ask a question then started seeing all of the issues. No major issues, but all things sounding like poor craftsmanship, poor quality control, etc. At 40k, I don't think anyone wants a regrettable purchase, but has that been the case for quite a few?

You can definitely scare yourself by reading these forums but the number of issues compared to the number of trucks sold is pretty small. I have a 2015 and haven't had any issues yet.

No regrets here either. 2015 2.7 XLT nicely equipped Sport package. Best truck yet compared to my 2003 and 2010 year models.

As with most forums, those with problems are the ones posting. Those with little to no problems don't generally chime in. As for me, I have been very pleased. This is the best truck I have ever had. I love it. As with any all new product, there will be hickups in the beginning.

Like any forum on the internet, coming here to look for problems is like going to a hospital to look for sick people.

You will definitely find them!

The question to ask is what is the %age compared to the entire population?

This new pickup is very different in a lot of ways from prior generations. It's familiar because it is a Ford but at the same time it is a very different truck. It does things well that have never been associated with a pickup truck like having sports car level passing ability but other things kind of make you go hmm... The changes in manufacturing processes are very apparent. This truck, mine, has the tightest body of any truck I have ever owned but at the same time I look around and see things that tell me Ford still has a bit to learn about forming and assembling aluminum. I do not care for the upholstery much at all. Honestly it just kind of looks cheap. The seat comfort even with the ten way adjustable seat seriously concerns me. I'm not certain I want to sit in this seat for a ten hour stretch. The bed sidewalls could stand to be stronger ever just from an observational stand point. I'm used to having stuff be able to slide around back there and not worry about it. I suspect with this truck that would result in serious dents and popped rivets. Overall though more props than boos.

All good points.

Only had it for 2 months, but my Lariat is flawless.

Ditto for me...no regrets...never go online to see what illness you have and never go on a forum to see if you are gonna buy a vehicle....

People are more inclined to vent than praise..

Nope,love mine.

Only thing I regret is missing some options, many of which I can add.
