Your right, it is kinda hard to hear, but I think you might of cracked the code for a decent sounding exhaust for the eco.

Been scouring the net looking for any exhaust that isn't all rasp... Mbrp, Corsa, Borla, Heartthrob etc, but nothing really seemed worth throwing on, but yours might be.

I was literally checking this forum every few hours looking to see if you posted your drive by, so thanks for doing it and I'll be watching for your next one. If you get a chance maybe provide some info, price etc... again, thanks.

Btw, dudes that feel the need to sit at their keyboard and take the time to disparage all non V8 exhausts are really tiresome, we've all had V8's and done our exhausts but now we've got V6's and were trying something different.... go troll somewhere else.

Not all V6's sound like crap Dan! I like the sound of my ecoboost with Flowmasters, it sounds decent for a V6. I never expected it to sound like a V8, and I don't care. I don't see why you need to rain on people's parade if they want to get exhaust on a V6.

People come on here looking for opinions. Then, when someone gives an opinion, and they don't like it, they throw a fit.

The one I heard locally a few weeks ago sounded horrible, I'm not sure what setup he had but it was bad. The one in the sound clip sound allot better, idle sounds pretty good. But that new EcoBoost with what ever he had, I must say I felt embarrassed for the guy, he took off like he was racing from that set of lights across from me and I didn't know it was that new F150 until he went by, I was looking around at what it was that had just lost its exhaust. That's the only new one I've heard around here with a setup different from stock.

Actually as a new member I've been coming here for advice and information, not really opinion, but opinion is fine. What I don't look for is derisive, undereasoned tear downs, especially from senior members, who I mostly look toward to moving along a thread intelligently....

I appreciate Fordman 1979 for helping along a thread and actually contributing some useful info... if you not helping a thread then what are you really doing and why!!

I didn't intend to come off as being a jerk, I just meant that some people are looking for advice without the remarks of "Don't do it, it sounds like crap." I say that because some people just want facts without putting down the idea. I read alot of post saying don't do it, but I'm glad I didn't listen to those people because I like my exhaust. I know it'll never sound like a V8, but I'm good with that. I wanted to be helpful and actually give the OP some sound clips so he could make a decision for himself. I feel its easier to decide by actually listening and making up your own mind rather than taking someones advice. If I never listened to sound clips and only took other's advice I wouldn't have bought mine.
