Does anyone know what the connector type or part number is that plugs into the 12v outlets?
I guess what I'm looking to do is, and I've done this on my other trucks is to pull the 12v plug and replace it with a USB panel mount for charging phones. Of course, I haven't really dug into the console yet and don't know if the 110vAC plus and the 12vDC plug are integrated into one unit or if I can pull the 12v separately...
Just was hoping to create a little wire harness so I don't have to cut the connector off, but I suppose I could always just pull it and put t-taps in.

The AC power system is completely different from the 12V power points. The plug used on the power points is an Aptiv 12176836. This connector is used exclusively for these 12V power points and therefore there is no mating connector half. Other people that have done something similar have just found spade connectors that are the same size and just use them to connect wires for the USB port.

Well hush my mouth.
Got the paperwork done on thr F150 today and turns out I have 12vDC, 110vAC and usb all on the back side of the console. Guess I don’t need to swap out that 12v after all.
I would like to replace my 12v cig socket (2016) with a dual USB as well. I only have the 12V power socket, but the rectangle "blank" for both looks to be very similar.
From the part image it looks like this whole power outlet is retained with two friction points on each side and just pulls straight out. Can anyone confirm how it's removed? Attached is a stock image of the factory part.
Before I realized I had both the USB and the 12v along with the 110vAC, I was planning on using a USB bulkhead connector...I've used those before in previous trucks with no issue. They work great and they fit in the hole once you get the 12v plug out. It basically replaces the 12v plug.
I did mine - the two pieces you think are friction points do not let go in any way, shape or form...as far as I could tell. I ended up using an exacto blade and cutting the tabs off. The flush mount dual usb fast charge/battery voltage unit I used slid right in and tightened down well.
I used posi-taps to pull 12v and ground from factory wires, taped off the factory connector. Been good for almost a year now.

I ordered and received one almost exactly like that. What I'm stumped on (not really stumped, just hoping to verify) is how to pull the assembly out. It APPEARS to just pull out with a good yank. But if it's not as it appears, a good yank could cause problems
