I did and 12volt.solutions claims that the "delay in start time is controller by the BCM". Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I've had it installed on my 17 XL about 4 months now and have had no issues. Mine starts 8-10 seconds after the 3rd lock. I've learned to watch for the lights to flash as it starts for confirmation. Love it!

I do the same and start counting from the time I see the lights blink. It takes 15-20 seconds. This doesnt seem right or make sense. I have reached out to 12volt.solutions but they dont seem to have an answer. Planning on returning the unit. Thanks for the feedback...

I have their no honk, lock unlock lock model on my 2015 f150. Starts about 2 seconds after the last lock button. Took me longer to wire it out of the way than hooking it up

It says it is for '18's but I had it installed on my '15 with no issues and Fairway Ford in Ohio sells them as 2015+ compatible!

If you're planning on returning it I would highly suggest the Ford Perimeter Alarm with remote start. It uses your factory key fob and uses the Lock-Unlock-Lock sequence so the horn doesn't beep. Also starts up almost immediately.

Second I bought it because for that little bit higher price it also adds a perimeter alarm to your truck. So in essence it might SEEM more expensive than the aftermarket one but in the end it really isn't.

I PM'd you also about a jumper needing to be installed. It was included. Make sure you install that in the black box of the kit
As far as Forscan goes, the changes I made were
726-22-02 xxx1 xxxx xxxx
720-02-02 xxxx Axxx
For 720-02-02 it depends on your trucks features. "A" worked for me but just look at forscan excel spreadsheet and figure out what your truck is equipped with and which one will work for you.

Where did this table come from? The spreadsheet I found for 2018 F150 doesn't show all of those options for remote start, just shows 726-22-2 xxx1 and 726-38-02 xxx0- to disable double horn honk. Nothing about 720- and all those other options.
For what it's worth, I was interested in using the A instead of whatever is currently there but my truck actually turns on remotely with however I left the A/C system configured when I turned it off last so maybe that's why they don't have it on the spreadsheet for the 2018 maybe?

I bought the no horn honk directly from 12 Volt Solutions. Installed (plugged it in) a couple days ago. Truck starts in less that 2 seconds. Default climate settings are to "last settings" which is fine for me. If I feel the need to turn on the remote start climate control settings, they rent a programmer that does it. Or find a buddy that can help an old dog learn forscan :-)
