The 10spd BANG
Curious to know how many 18 F-150 owners are experiencing the 10spd bang from 1st to 2nd/3rd gear during a cold start. My 18 F-150 Sport V8 SCREW keeps slapping into 2nd or 3rd early mornings pulling away from home. Very light acceleration. No manipulation of the gas pedal but the truck seems to continue to over rev and then slap into the 2nd or 3rd gear.
Should i I be worried?

Mine does the bang when you give it part throttle and completely let off around 20-30 mph. It does the shift and BANG! I do have the latest 10-speed TSB applied. I'm sure if Ford thought it was an issue that could've been fixed with the PCM flash, it would've been addressed. This has me a little worried that it's a hardware issue- historically Ford makes us live with it until the issue is no longer on their dime.
I was under the impression there is a TSB on this now - and a software patch for this.
curious question is this the only time you experience it during your day? If so roughly what is the outside air temp?

Mine did that at first for maybe the first 8 or 9 thousand miles. Seems to have gone away now. Although I get a late shift into 2nd or 3rd sometimes when cold and coasting to a stop from slow speed. Basically I'm pulling out of the parking lot from work, get out of first and am coming to a stop sign, coasting or decelerating, and it goes into either 2nd or 3rd late. It shouldn't be shifting up at that point. Doesn't do it when the truck is warmed up.
I have an '18 with 5.0 and it doesn't do it at all but I'm out of town for work right now and renting an '18 5.0 and it does it from time to time. It caught me off guard the first time. As soon as I shift it into drive, there's a pretty significant 'clunk' in the tranny.
