Default Remove poly overspray on paint/windows

My wife was painting in our extended garage and sprayed some polyurethane on a piece of furniture she was refinishing. Apparently some of the spray floated around and landed on my truck paint and windows.

Is there a way to remove the poly without damaging the paint? I am sure whatever I do I will end up re-waxing it.

Laquer thinner. Seriously. It's what we do at our body shop for nearly everything overspray related. Road paint, vandalism' etc. Unless your paint is very fresh, as in painted within the last 3 months, it won't hurt your paint. It will melt plastics though. So stay away from those

Default Thanks!

Thanks! I will give it a try.

Would the clay bar work to get it off or is it too widespread for something like that?

Depends on how bad it is. Try that first in case you're scared. Lol.

You could also try using a clay bar with some quick detail spray. It won't harm anything on the car, so no worries about plastic, etc. Probably not as easy as using a solvent, though.
