I have some small parts that I want to clean up, de-rust, strip old paint, prime and repaint. These are engine compartment parts like covers, etc.

What kind of paint stripper should I use? I'll use primer and paint meant for high temps, but I wondered in there is any chemical reaction that using just any old stripper might have with paint. I'm thinking of using citrus stripper.
