Well, maybe I'll just stick the mudflappers back on temporarily, and let it off gas, do the traditional way. Those at least will give me some protection, just stay off dirt/gravel roads a bit longer. And for $60 or so for new OEM, all 4, it won't hurt dollar wise.
I always recommend waiting as long as possible. But never had a problem doing it next day
Bought a new truck F150 that had a new color of paint for this years model (2021) called SPACE WHITE. Took a road trip in April and noticed that the bumper paint had numerous chips, when returned I went back to dealer and they claimed to have filed a claim with Ford, but was denied. I’m waiting for the copy of paper work to verify.
Has anyone had problems with the Space White paint?
Thank you

There's no problem with your paint. Vehicle paint will rock chip if left with no paint protection film. This spans all years, all manufacturers. Ford denied because rock chips are damage caused to the paint. Not a manufacturer defect.
