I have a 1997 F150 4x4 with a 4.6l v8. The problem I'm having is the hoses on the remote oil filter are leaking. Can the hoses be replace by cutting them off and installing new oil hoses with hose clamps? Is their something after market to replace it? I checked with ford and they wanted $250 for the unit. Any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated.................Thx....bob106
