Good morning folks ! I'll get to the point.I have 05 screw 4x4 and as I was coming back from the store pulled out into traffic Like I normally do it started spittng and sputtering until I let off of the gas , then I started hearing a rattling type of noise like the sound you would get from I know thats not it the rattling varies as to relation to rpm's.Checked oil it's ok , kinda sounds like a deisel engine now If anybody has any idea your thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

 

5.4 or 4.6? mine dose its 4.6 has bad piston in # 4 . they said the piston pin stuck in piston and now rocking in cyclinder need new engine . runs but makes noise ,good oil pressure . looking for low milage junk yard motor now
