Question OBD1 codes

Pulled the codes today. Got 2 codes, one I know and understand, the other I have no idea and can't find anything on. It is a 67 code My book says MLP What is that? I can't find any explanation for that code. Fuel injection.com says it is "Manifold lever position"..What? But that is all I can find. No other explanation. Any ideas??

Manual lever position sensor. It's on the transmission where the shift linkage is and tells the computer what gear the truck is in.

You are right, I miss read it as "manifold" lever pos. My book doesn't say anything about it. But I will look for it tomorrow. I guess it should be on the tranny sompplace. It is the 4 spd. I think this will be a great truck when I get it ironed out after sitting for a while.
