Default Hose broke.

The hose that broke on the axel had two medal hoses going to each brake drum. It doesn't leak but the fluid is full. It brakes just fine. What's it for?

The metal thing is just a divider for the rear brake lines. It has a rubber brake line leading to it and 2 metal brake lines going left and right. The bolt that holds the block to the axle housing is hollow to vent the axle. The tube thats attached to the top of it is the axle vent. Follow the broken hose up and there is a little valve at the top of it. Remove the broken hose, remove the valve from the old hose, put the valve in the new hose, install the new hose and run it up as high as you can. Remember to leave slack between the body and the axle for spring flex. Fuel line works very well its strong and can handle the little bit of gear lube that gets in it thru normal venting.

Allot of people make it their first mod to move the vent tube intro the stake pocket on the bed, maybe try running it there.
