No becuz they aren't even close to the same motor. Get the ECU off the expedition the motor came from, but it will also need the tranny as that is what the PCM is made to work with.

Maybe but there are 2v and 3v 4.6 and the F150 has a 3v 5.4. I don't think they will work with a 4v 5.4 but I could be wrong.

2v 4.6 ecu will work with a 2v 5.4 BUT it needs to be recalibrated for the extra displacement and the 5.4 will have to be setup to run on the 4.6 coil packs

3v 4.6 ecu will work with 3v 5.4 after recalibrating for displacement (i think)

4v whole new ball game, just get the ecu, if you are getting an engine for 125 you should get the ecu and and harness to go with it, it will be much easier and much less hassle and what if. also like i said i suggest getting a whole navigator to use for parts

How hard would it be to put in? Same mounts, harness, computer, tranny. No fab or anything right? I've done engine swaps in school before and tranny swaps on my old grand marquis

harness and ecu are not the same....and if the ecu you got had a 4r100w in it you would be best off getting the trans too. if you want me to say it again for the 4th time just ask again

i suggest you go to f150online.com there have been a few people who have done the swap, do some research and figure out exactly what you are getting into before you just jump into it

Im not saying I'll use the same ecu and stuff. Just the mounts are the same. The rest is a easy swap is what I was saying
