On the highway yesterday, I floored the gas pedal and the truck shook, lost power, and the engine light started blinking. I got off at the next exit and by the time I coasted to the bottom of the ramp the light went out and all seemed fine. I ran a vehicle health report on my 2013 F150 Lariat with the Ecoboost engine and the report said everything was ok. I'm stumped as to what caused this as I've only owned this truck for 3 weeks. Any thoughts ?

 

Sounds like a misfire. Take it back to the dealer and have them check the hard codes.
